Red, Black and Pink Vintage Quilt Jacket (L)

This one of a kind jacket is handmade with love from a vintage quilt in a postage stamp/around the world pattern variation. The fabrics are a variety of florals in lovey muted colours and reds and blacks. The most prominent color is the burgundy, red and black with white accents. The jacket has brass coloured metal snap closures.

The jacket is a size M-XL depending on the desired fit of the jacket. The model in the photos is a size M. Please measure your favourite fitting jacket to compare.

 Measurements taken flat:

24.5 inches pit to pit (chest)

27 inches from the nape of back neck to bottom (total length)

21.5 inches from apex of shoulder to base of the sleeve (sleeve length)

11.5 inches from top of shoulder to armpit (armhole)

I recommend washing the jacket by hand in cold water and laying to dry to extend the life of the quilt.

Please Note: Colours in photos may not be completely accurate and due to the nature of vintage quilts there is some imperfections to be expected such as small holes or small stains due to the preloved nature of the quilt. With respect to this particular jacket there has been some mending on a few seams. There is more ware than usual with some areas on the jacket being more worn than others such as areas near the time/border of the quilt. There is a makers label on the front of the quilt "Gloria McKay"
